Shyam Bohra
A dynamic management professional with over 36 years of proven leadership in the energy sector, including board-level roles and international experience. Currently serving as Executive Director (Corporate Communications & Coordination) at Indian Oil, leading strategic media, digital, and government relations initiatives. Previously held key roles as State Head for Delhi, Haryana, UP, and Uttarakhand, managing operations worth ₹70,000+ crore and implementing pioneering initiatives in retail, EVs, and digital innovation.
As MD of Lanka IOC PLC, successfully turned around Sri Lanka’s largest listed energy company, expanding global reach and boosting profitability. Recognized with prestigious awards including the National Merit Award (Sri Lanka) and Gold Award for Business Excellence. Academically equipped with degrees from MDI Gurgaon, Rajasthan University, and Bangalore University.
He is credited with pioneering hi-tech horticulture in Orissa and introducing high-value crops such as bananas, guava, and vegetables to small and marginal farmers, thereby strengthening the agri-value chain and increasing farmers’ incomes.
