Dr. Dinesh Brahmbhatt
An IAS (Retd.), he is a distinguished former Secretary to the Government of Gujarat with over 36 years of public service—22 years as a Class 1 officer and 14 years as an IAS officer. He has held key leadership roles including Ex-DG of the Institute for Public Policy and Strategic Studies, Ex-ED of a national federation for rural development, and Advisor to multiple Government of India undertakings in water, power, infrastructure, and renewable energy. Dr. Brahmbhatt has served on various national bodies, including the National Institute of Urban Affairs and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gujarat. He has also advised institutions across sectors—healthcare, urban planning, women’s empowerment, sustainable development, and education. Internationally, he advises infrastructure companies in Saudi Arabia and Neom City, as well as firms engaged in mining, real estate, and agri-business in Africa and the USA. He is currently associated with Ecor Green Tech for sustainable waste management and serves as an advisor to several private and public organizations across India.
He is credited with pioneering hi-tech horticulture in Orissa and introducing high-value crops such as bananas, guava, and vegetables to small and marginal farmers, thereby strengthening the agri-value chain and increasing farmers’ incomes.
